Qualified Management Accountant

Agility Resourcing are very excited to be working exclusively with a growing SME business based in the Blackburn area. Due to continued growth and investment they are looking to introduce a Finance Manager/Management Accountant to head up their accounts function. This is a newly created position and would suit a newly qualified accountant to join a forward-thinking business during this exciting period of growth.Your key areas of responsibility will include:Overall responsibility for finance function including the management of 2 junior members of staffPreparation of monthly management accounts, including commentaries and financial statementsPreparing budgets and forecastingCreating and developing business strategies with company directors and shareholdersWIP, BOM's and stock managementMaintaining financial administration and internal audit processesDeveloping financial policies and managing process developmentThe ideal candidate will be:A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in manufacturingExperienced in ERP systems (ideally Sage 200) and Microsoft ExcelConfident in taking control of an accounts functionHave a dynamic and forward-thinking approach to workApply for this jobRegional accountancy, finance and HR recruiters
