As a Qualified Accountant within Rovco, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of our business operations.
Your responsibilities will encompass various accounting and reporting functions critical to our financial success. With your expertise and attention to detail, you will contribute significantly to the accuracy and transparency of our financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and providing valuable insights for informed decision-making.In addition, this is an incredible opportunity to help further the transition to renewable energy. Vaarst is an exciting and dynamic environment meaning these are likely to change as we grow, upon joining your objectives and responsibilities will include:Objectives & Responsibilities:
Manage
day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts
receivable, general ledger entries, and month-end close processes. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Maintain
accurate financial records. Assist
in the development and implementation of financial controls and
processes to optimize efficiency and mitigate risk. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements. By maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance, contribute to the reliability of financial data for internal stakeholders and external regulators. Support
communication of budgets and spends with stakeholders. Provide valuable support to the Financial Controller, FP&A manager, and Deputy Finance Director in various financial activities, such as controlling month end process, establishing new entities, reporting, implementing changes to financial policies, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Through insightful analysis and reliable financial information, contribute to informed decision-making and the achievement of organisational goals.

Certified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) Proven experience in financial accounting, reporting, and analysis Understanding of accounting principles and regulations Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., Xero) Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and processes Effective communication and interpersonal skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Continuous improvement mindset, with a proactive approach to process enhancement Benefits At Vaarst, we’re committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
