A global automotive client looking for hands-on Qlik Consultants (x2) to drive a Data Transformation across the group.
T
he ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in developing dashboards within the Qlik landscape, experience is working with senior stakeholders and helping the business with automation through providing analytical solutions. You will have experience in BI Tools like Qlik, Tableau and Amazon Quicksight - also working as a consultant on the ground for the business.
You will be working alongside a leader in Data and an experienced BI Manager to deliver this transformation. You will be expected to work with the business to understand the use of systems, the business processes, the data that they generate and the relationship between the data and the business process.
Your new role
as a Qlik BI Consultant you will be required to:
Deliver a data-centric culture, allowing a shift towards self-sufficiency and data democratisation in line with the Data Strategy.
Transform the reporting landscape from traditional single-purpose reporting to multipurpose narratives within analytical tools.
Promote and role-model a data-driven decision culture and drive better business decisions through the analytics provided.
Develop knowledge and capability of business users in data analytics techniques so that they are better able to use and analyse available information appropriately to inform their decision-making.
Identify opportunities for diagnostic or predictive analytics, using knowledge of business processes and data structures gained through data analytics design.
Proactive design of appropriate internal and external BI solutions to monitor business performance and steer business direction
What you'll need to succeed
Experience of working in a Business Intelligence team
Data Warehouse concept knowledge and best practices
Management Information and Business Intelligence methodology and best practices
KPI and performance measurement best practice
Project management skills for implementing IT solutions.
Data systems and business processes within the vehicle finance industry as a bonus
Interrelationships and Interdependencies of data structures and data models
Excellent SQL and basic database connectivity knowledge.
An Agile mindset with experience working in an Agile environment
Proven experience as a
QlikSense Consultant/Developer
or similar role, with a strong understanding of data visualisation principles.
Proficient in Qlik scripting language, data modelling, and
QlikSense application development.
Proficient in current Qlik best practices.
Experience with AWS or similar cloud services.
Experience with NPrinting.
Demonstrable experience supporting additional BI Tools ( Amazon Quicksight
& Tableau).
Expertise with Dashboard and Scorecard development, and with other types of data visualisation.
Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, handle quickly changing priorities, and be capable of managing yourself to achieve maximum results.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
