QHSE Manager

The company

A Manufacturing Business based in the heart of the West Midlands in Dudley. They are a leading player working with Metals, supplying into several key industries. With a number of key contracts on board, they are working towards continued growth for the next few years.

The role

A QHSE Manager, is required to join the team at their Head office in Dudley. Working as a single advocate for all QHSE issues across the site.

You will take responsibility for:

• Quality management of existing Management systems including ISO 9001 and 14001
• Responsible for undertaking all internal and external QHSE audits
• Will be tasked with assisting with the implementation of a new ISO 45001 standard
• Ensure products are conforming to the correct quality and processes are aligned with customer expectations and industry standards
• Take responsibility for HSE across the site and championing HSE across the site and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation

What you need

It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:

• Previous experience managing quality management systems autonomously within an Engineering/Manufacturing setting, preferably a Metal or Steel background
• Proficient understanding of ISO 9001 & 14001. Additional experience of 45001 would be an advantage
• Confident with conducting both internal and external quality audits
• Nebosh certification and IOSH trained

Other DESIRABLE skills include:

• Experience within the Steel/ Metals/ Aluminium background would be highly advantageous
