Our client are looking for an experienced Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to manage all aspects of Business Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems and Business support Services including Facilities.
Main general duties will include:




  • Oversee and maintain Company regulatory compliance in relation to QSHE

  • Provide and/ or facilitate delivery of training in relation to all QSHE activities

  • Coordinate change control activities

  • Manage all aspects of QSHE policy and arrangements for the group and in conjunction with HR where relevant.

  • Assume the role as higher authority/ first point of contact for all QSHE activities, advice and information.

  • Compile and issue KPIs as part of the monthly Board Reporting process.

  • Provide expertise and experience to the business in developing and refining the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems to meet the developing business requirements.

  • Assume the role as a member of the business Senior Management Team.



Quality Duties:




  • Improve and promote the business quality system culture.

  • Manage and maintain all aspects of ISO9001:2015 accreditation.

  • Maintenance of internal ISO9001 auditing schedule and process.

  • Management of Concern Action (8D) process

  • Oversee quality aspects of supply chain management process.

  • Participate in the design, development and improvement of new and existing products



Health, Safety & Environment Duties:




  • Improve and promote the health and safety culture

  • Ensure H&S and env Management system complies with developing legislation

  • Identification of the requirement for Risk Assessment and Safe Systems of Work, their compilation and management

  • Near Miss and Accident recording and investigation

  • Future accreditations/ approvals (ISO 14001, ISO 45001 etc)

  • Delivery of H&S induction and tool box style training

  • Provide experience to the business on all Health, Safety and Environmental related matters

  • Ensure the business environmental arrangements maintain compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Lead and take ownership of the business health surveillance programme in conjunction with HR





Certification and Compliance




  • Support product and site scheme audit program (SDI19, (phone number removed) FPC Partner etc)

  • Manage the H&S and Site Installer Scheme Audit program





Experience




  • Experience managing the QSHE function in an engineering and/ or manufacturing environment

  • Conversant with process of attaining and maintaining accreditations to ISO 9001 and ISO45001

  • Able to work with and develop a small team of reports

  • Experienced QMS/ H&S auditor





Salary Negotiable DOE
