A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a QHSE Manager to join an renowned UK wide Extrusion Plant in the Cheltenham area.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and continually improve QHSE policies and procedures to enhance workplace safety and product quality.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on QHSE best practices, fostering a safety-conscious mindset throughout the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives aimed at reducing waste, enhancing efficiency, and minimizing environmental impact.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• NEBOSH certification or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Proven experience working with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to the manufacturing industry (Ideally Automotive).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Effective problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to risk management.
