The company are leading the way in the design and manufacture of high power electrical resistors, and they are currently looking to expand within the automotive sector. They have a turnover exceeding �10 million and 90+ employees.

As the QHSE Manager, you will be responsible for leading all relevant functions, with numerous direct reports. You will maintain all relevant accreditations, and drive CI, lean development and sustainability throughout the business. You will advise senior leadership on all aspects of QHSE.

The role:

• Implement the procedures outlined in the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance
• Ensure the business is compliant with environmental and sustainability legislation and standards
• Manage environmental audits
• Ensure processes are updated, revised and modified to meet the needs of the company and external certification bodies
• Introduce new systems and procedures where appropriate
• Make sure production processes meet required standards
• Look to implement a culture of continuous improvement
• Maintain ISO45001 and ISO9001
• Manage Health and Safety through a Health and Safety Officer
• Lead lean development
• Manage suppliers KPIs
