THE QA MANAGER

As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for the control and development of technical standards and procedures within the facility.

This includes the agreement of the process and specifications of all prepared products. The role includes the setting of hygiene and quality control standards, in addition, to input into new product development and direct interface with customers.

Other role responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring BRC and quality compliance throughout production
• Management of the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Management the HACCP system
• Advising on relevant legislation, food safety issues, legislative, scientific and technical developments and Industry Codes of Practice
• Co-ordinate internal and supplier audits
• Identify Corrective / Preventive actions & Continuous Improvements
• Manage Supplier approval

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Previous experience in a Quality Management leadership role within the Food Manufacturing industry is essential. You will have a detailed understanding of applying customer technical requirements.

Other essential requirements for the role:

• Direct experience of working with UK retailers.
• Experience of BRC & customer/standards and audit.
• Experience in HACCP & process management.
• Degree level or equivalent.
• HACCP qualified.
• Internal and 3rd Party Auditing
