QA & Lab Technician
Harrogate, £29,000, on-site parking, 4 x salary life cover, private medical, ongoing training and development, 33 days holiday, bonus scheme.
We require a QA & Lab Technician to work for an FMCG manufacturer in the Harrogate area. In this role, you will be responsible for working within the microbiology lab facility undertaking quality assurance, testing and working with production to ensure standards.
The role will include:
Conducting microbiological testing in line with testing procedures
Carrying out regular quality assurance line-audits of the product, including all aspects of quality and packaging
Completing site hygiene surveys of plant and personnel in accordance with the schedule
Conducting regular quality checks of finished products
Maintaining accurate written and electronic records of all activities and to ensure that high personal hygiene standards are maintained and documented in the QMS
Collating technical data
Reading, interpreting, effectively documenting, and communicating the results of all samples for analysis on both electronic and written quality assurance records
Conducting complaint investigations and document findings
Completing equipment calibrations, and maintaining relevant records, according to the calibration schedule
Liaising effectively and professionally with other departments and people within the business.
