Check out the platform here: www.geomiq.com, and view a video of the platform in action: About the Role We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through meticulous testing and automation. As a key member of our engineering/product team, you will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to drive the development of high-quality, user-friendly software solutions. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases to effectively assess software quality and functionality Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks Execute manual and automated tests to identify bugs, defects, and areas for improvement Work closely with developers to understand product requirements and technical specifications, providing valuable input on testability and quality concerns Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and enhancements do not introduce unintended side effects Continuously monitor and analyse test results, identifying trends and patterns to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritise testing efforts and resolve issues in a timely manner Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our QA processes, tools, and methodologies
What are we looking for? Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Proven experience as a QA Engineer, with a strong emphasis on test automation Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PHP, or JavaScript Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams in a remote environment Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
