Fruition IT are partnering with an exciting Fintech organisation that truly sells itself. Due to growth, they're now looking to hire an experienced QA Engineer, with experience across both manual and automation testing. Ideally, you'll love Software Testing and everything around it. This is an opportunity to work with a range of diverse technologies across the business and to get involved in building up test automation frameworks from scratch.
How will you be spending your time?
You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the system on various components within the platforms. You will conduct QA activities in functional test environment and you will be writing/executing text cases and scripts and work closely with the development team to resolve identified issues.
You will help to improve quality and delivery of value in whatever form that takes meaning you will need to have a strong understanding of all aspects of testing and the ability to influence and improve quality at all levels of the stack. You will be hands-on in a team, not just creating and executing checks but also collaborating with others about effective test techniques.
What will you be doing?
You will be working within the test team overseeing the testing of delivered solutions in an Agile working environment. You will be involved with preparation, development and delivery of test strategies, plans, scenarios and cases. You will also have the ability to build on current automation frameworks and implement new scripts within the frameworks.
Experience across both manual and automation testing
Java programming would be highly beneficial
API testing - Postman, REST
IDE - IntelliJ
