QA Engineer (Python)

QA Engineer – Automation – Python – Testing – London. A rapidly expanding trading software vendor seeks to hire a Software Quality Engineer who has experience with automation testing to join their growing development and QA team in London. Their high-performance real-time price matching platform is the key to the success in the market and now controls a significant proportion of the market. A number of high-profile innovation projects are taking place during 2023 that the QA Engineer will be an integral part of. Please note that this role does note provide visa sponsorship.
QA Engineer will have experience off: Automation testing using command lines on Unix platformsCreating automation test scripts using PythonCreation of test plans and traceabilityBe responsible for the quality and stability of software releases for the trading venueThe maintenance and improvement of the bespoke QA tool-set3+ years’ experience testing high-performance production systemsKnowledge of financial systems is required for this positionPython Scripting experience is required for this positionTest automation and implementation experienceLead and drove the direction of automation-based projectThe ability to deliver quality in a fast-paced environmentGood time management skills and ability to get things doneGood verbal and written communication skills Desirable skills for the QA Engineer: Familiarity with JavaA very basic understanding and experience with PostgreSQL or SQLExperience with financial protocols – (FIX, ITCH)A fantastic opportunity for a QA Engineer who is looking to work within an agile environment alongside a strong team of developers.
