Night shift QA Coordinator
My client based in Wetherby LS22 have an exciting opportunity for a QA Coordinator to join the QA Team to ensure the Food Safety and Legality of Products manufactured.
Your key responsibilities will include:
To be the first point of contact for the shift regards food safety, quality and integrity standards, coaching the Shift Teams to make the right decisions and solutions.
To proactively manage food safety and quality testing and auditing regimes to ensure site compliance.
Ensure that documentation and records are up to date, accurate and understood.
What my client is looking for?
A basic understanding of customer codes of practice e.g. allergens, labelling & coding and foreign body detection.
Experience in use of root cause analysis methods and tools.
Ability to:
- communicate across all levels
- influence those around them
- manage across all levels
- work under own initiative
2+ Years QA experience within Food Manufacturing, ideally with both private label and branded product experience.
Proficient in GMP and Quality Standards.
Level 3 HACCP
Level 3 Food Safety
Auditor qualification
Recognised allergen qualification
Recognised microbiology qualification
Working hours:
18:00/6:00 (2on /2off/ 3on shift pattern)
Working every second weekend
This is Permanent Role with Annual salary - £33,537.85.
