We're looking for a QA and Release Manager whose mission is to be Supporting the delivery the LINQ Cloud and LINQ Workcell platform to provide new global multi-tenant and single-tenant environments for our customerWhy is this role important at Automata?Automata's platform team is growing to meet an increased demand in our LINQ automation platform from our customers in the life sciences industry. You will be responsible for: Responsible for shaping and executing our release engineering strategy, ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of software products and services to our customers. This includes: Release management and upgrades
Integration testing and insights Quality control process Responsible for the hiring and budget proposals for this area of engineering. Develop and implement comprehensive release management and quality assurance strategies that align with the company’s objectives and product roadmap. Determining software readiness to deploy automation in customer workcells. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering management, operations, and customer success, to ensure smooth and timely releases. Establish and enforce best practices for release management , integration testing and quality assurance, including automation, CI/CD, testing methodologies, and risk management. Monitor and manage all aspects of the release processes, from planning and development to deployment and post-release support. Implement metrics, tools, and processes to improve the quality of deliverables and reduce time-to-market, while also maintaining high reliability and performance standards. Act as a key stakeholder in product strategy and roadmap discussions, providing insights and recommendations from a release management, testing and robustness perspective. Experience as a QA and Release Manager Solid experience defining QA and Test Strategy Solid background in testing methodologies and approaches Software Engineering background Embedded systems testing experience Awareness of GxP processes Awareness of ISO9001/ISO27001 Nice to haves: Lab automation experience Life science What gets us excited?
