QA Analyst

Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are working with one of our most dynamic and exciting clients, who are based near Reading (Berkshire). Together, we are looking for a QA Analyst to work on a contract basis with our clients’ internal applications team (Salesforce & Customer Portal); someone who knows how to use/work with Selenium; can work with developers within Agile and has experience of ‘automated and manual testing’ is what we are looking for. THE BASICS: The ideal candidate will carry a formal qualification in software testing such as BCS/ISTQB and be able to assure the quality and stability of our clients’ internal management systems and layered products through a structured testing and evaluation process, documenting results and preparing user & release documentation. You are likely to receive an interview if you can: use QA testing documentation to approved quality standards, whilst preparing relevant data for testing – create test scripts and produce documentation required to release the software. Any QA Analyst with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders, participate in Agile ceremonies and demonstrate responsibility for whole projects or areas of product, while contributing to the internal Quality / Best practice review process will be highly sought after. THE KEY INDICATORS:
• Adherence to Quality Assurance standards. • Quality and usability of the software. • Production of regression test scripts. A measure of your potential success in this role will be your ability to ensure adherence to best practices and procedures, while providing feedback from stakeholders, support and customers. THE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
We are looking for people with the ability to comprehend complex software processes clearly and accurately, troubleshoot problematic programs and executable codes, coupled with an expertise in interpreting business requirement specifications and an ability to assess and understand risk, likelihood and impact. If you have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products with good technical writing skills to document QA results and recommendations and an understanding of Scrum based Agile development methodology we’d like to hear from you!! THE ADDITIONALS:
1. high demonstrable amount of experience of software testing. 2. track record of delivery of medium size or medium complex projects on time.
