Innovative data storage solutions company with a range of high-profile media clients are looking for an experienced and talented Python developer to join.The role will be developing reliable, maintainable, scalable, and fault-tolerant backend services that enable the growth of the business. To achieve this, you will need solid experience developing Python applications.
You will be fluent working in a Linux environment and ideally have experience working with API’s and GIT as well as good knowledge of systems approach knowing functionality and functional design elements.
A broader range of development skills including elements such as Docker, Cloud systems (AWS etc) and ideally experience with storage, would be great! Any knowledge of UML’s and Schemas, HTTP protocols, REST and JSON would be a distinct advantage.
Key Skills
Experience developing/supporting Python application software.
Linux
Web development frameworks such as Django and flask
Task and message queue services such as Celery and RabbitMQ
Test driven development.
Git
Software project/issue management systems, such as Jira (preferred), Trac, GitHub,
Familiarity with the use of automated testing / CI tools, such as Jenkins
