Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior-Mid Level Python Developer to join our dynamic team at a leading digital banking institution. In this role, you will be responsible for performing basic tasks related to software development, maintenance, and support within our digital banking platform. You will work closely with senior developers and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our customers and drive innovation in the digital banking space.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with senior developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications and scripts to support various aspects of our digital banking platform.
Implement basic features and functionalities according to specifications, coding standards, and best practices.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and performance of software deliverables.
Assist in the integration of third-party APIs, services, and libraries to enhance the functionality and capabilities of our digital banking platform.
Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives within the development team.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
1-3 years of professional experience in Python development, preferably within the financial services or fintech industry.
Solid understanding of software development fundamentals, object-oriented programming, and data structures.
Proficiency in Python programming language and experience with Python frameworks such as Django or Flask.
Knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular) is a plus.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git), databases (SQL, PostgreSQL), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
