The Role:
We're delighted to have partnered with an industry-leading global and dynamic commodities firm currently experiencing a significant growth phase.
The organisation are able to call upon decades of experience in the physical, financial energy and commodities markets. They provide a wide range of services to a substantial and diversified customer base.
They are seeking a skilled Python Application Developer who will play a critical role in the firm's technological evolution.
As a Python Developer, you will be spearheading new development projects across middle and back office operations, leveraging strong software engineering principles to drive innovation and efficiency.
The ideal candidate should have the majority of the following:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years software development experience.
Expertise in Python programming.
Data analysis & data manipulation using Pandas.
Strong proficiency in FAST APIs for building APIs & SQLAlchmy for database interactions.
Strong experience in cloud-based development (AWS).
Proficiency with both Docker & Kubernetes for containerisation & orchestration.
Experience working in Commodities, Trading or Financial Services markets.
Experience in implementing solid software engineering practices.
Permanent / Full-Time Employment.
Hybrid working environment (2 / 3 days' in the office).
