A leading manufacturing company specialising in industrial/engineering equipment have an immediate requirement for an experienced purchasing controller / coordinator to join them at their offices in Nottingham.

Salary: Circa �42,000

As purchasing controller your main role will be to keep on top of a company's supply needs by seeking out high-quality goods/suppliers and carry out strategic negotiations.

They are looking for a Purchasing controller who can introduce professional purchasing practices and ensure

production flows efficiently with regards to component supply.

As purchasing controller / coordinator it is essential you have the following experience:

• Proven Purchasing experience.
• Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.
• Strong negotiation and planning skills.
• Capability to gather and analyse data and to work with figures.
• Solid judgement along with decision making skills.
• The ability to positively communicate with your colleagues, management and suppliers in a timely and concise manner.
• Team player who will work with others to achieve company goals.
• Hardworking, focused on meeting deadlines and exceeding targets.
• Customer (internal and external) focused attitude.
• Experience of working with SAP would be beneficial.
• Some experience of engineered products would be useful.
