Elevation Accountancy & Finance are pleased to be working in partnership with a leading business based in the Leeds City Centre as they look at bring on board an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk.

The successful candidate will be working as part of a busy Finance Service Centre to support the Finance Manager and Purchase Ledger Team Leader with the full, end to end purchase ledger process including invoicing, payment runs, managing the inbox, approvals and more!

Responsibilities:

High volume invoice processing
Preparing and processing the payment runs
Liaising with suppliers
Handling complex invoice/PL related queries
Bank reconciliation
Managing the PL inbox
Assisting with ad-hoc duties as requested

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Person Specification:

At least 2 years working within a Purchase Ledger position
Ability to work well towards strict deadlines
Genuine passion for long term career within purchase ledger
Experience working with Sage (advantageous)
Experience with MS Office packages including Excel
Excellent communication skills
This is a fully office-based position
