We are exclusively recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a growing construction company based near the city stadium. The business has gone through significant growth and due to this growth, they require a Purchase Ledger Clerk. Salary £24,000 - £28,000.
You will work with the Office Manager, but carry out efficient purchase ledger duties including: -
- Purchase ledger via Sage 50
- Processing around 300 invoices per month
- Some credit control duties
- Payroll duties and processing timesheets
- Processing supplier and hire statements
- Chasing statements
- Reconciling invoices
- Matching and batching including delivery notes
- Liaising with suppliers and rectifying any queries
- Processing credit card payments
- Dealing with general admin including updating quotes and Excel spreadsheets
- Dealing with nominal codes
- Assisting other team members on an ad hoc basis
What’s required for the role:
- Recent purchase ledger experience
- Solid work background
- Experience of Sage 50
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail
- Able to complete tasks within agreed deadlines
- Ideally worked within construction (not essential)
