My client is a manufacturing business based in Rossendale. Due to the current incumbent leaving the business they are recruiting this role on a permanent basis into their finance function, this is an excellent opportunity to join a stable business who can offer excellent exposure to other areas of finance.
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger from start to finish. This will include processing invoices accurately and efficiently onto the system, reconciling supplier statements, dealing with supplier queries offering high levels of customer service and processing payment runs. You will also get involved with adhoc work outside of these duties to assist your colleagues and help the finance function run as effectively and efficiently as possible.
This role will suit a candidate who has experience in an end to end purchase ledger role who can hit the ground running with the above named duties. Good communication skills are essential in order to build rapport with suppliers.
