We have a new opportunity for a Purchase LedgerAssistant to join our vans business, based in Stockton.
The Purchase Ledger Assistant will assist with the day-to-day functions of the Purchase Ledger department.
Here is a flavour of what youll be doing day to day:
Input purchase ledger invoices, credit notes, debit notes etc onto the computer system
Processing of invoices.- Scanning invoices, delivery notes and other documents to be uploaded onto our financial system.- Filing documents in a neat, disciplined manner.
Prepare and process payment runs as and when required
Make approvals for payments on authorised invoices, credit notes, debit notes etc
Set up new accounts and amend existing accounts on the Purchase ledger
General Administration duties to include filing and sending emails
Any other duties as required by the Purchase Ledger Team and the Accounts Team
To be successful in this role:
Be a confident communicator and have experience in developing good relationships with a range of staff and customers.
Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work and have excellent organisational skills
Have good IT skills, with an understanding of Microsoft packages.
