My client is a globally leading engineering company that specialises in supplying innovative solutions for subsea and harsh environment applications. They are currently in need of a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their team in Stithians, Cornwall.
ROLE: Working as a Purchase Ledger Assistant you will support the Finance Co-ordinator with daily routine processing tasks and other such duties to support the finance function and wider business.
DUTIES:
- Monitoring accounts email inbox
- Ensuring supplier invoices match purchase orders
- Processing of all supplier invoices into Xero
- Ensuing all invoices are received against supplier statements
- Adding credit card receipts and expenses to Xero
- Assist procurement on purchase orders.
- Chasing any credit card receipts/invoices not received against purchases
- Other ad hoc duties as and when required
SKILLS:
- Experience using Xero Accounting software
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Adaptive, able to use own initiative and ability to work independently
- Good numerical skills and attention to detail
