ELC has 27 children who attend ELC in the morning, 18 who attend in the afternoon and 25 children who attend for 2 full days. ELC has an Early Years Officer, 2 Pupil Support Workers and 5 Early Years Practitioners.The setting is open 52 weeks per year and the successful candidate will be required to work flexibly across the opening hours.The candidate will require to register with the SSSC and be subject to Disclosure Scotland check.This position requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have six months from commencement in this post to register with the SSSC. If you are already registered with SSSC you will be required to add West Lothian Council to your accountThis post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
