Job Title: Pump Workshop Engineer                                 

Salary: £26,800 - £28,500 (DOE)

Location: Woore, Cheshire              

Type: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week/ Monday - Friday

The role:

Our family run client based in Cheshire is currently on the hunt for a talented and experienced Pump Workshop Engineer to be based at their Head office in Cheshire. As the Pump Workshop Engineer, you will be experienced in service, repair and assembly of pumps. You will have previous experience of working in a workshop capacity and be a highly personable team player looking to carve a long-standing career with your next employer.

As the Pump Workshop Engineer, you will have a technical qualification in support of a minimum of 3 years work experience within a similar field. You will be motivated and passionate about all technical repairs and have an eye for detail in servicing and repairing of equipment.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Service, repair and assembly of pumps and associated equipment in a timely manner

Complete and maintain service reports, quotations and supporting documents

Liaise with customers and suppliers

Assist colleagues in resolving technical issues

Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Communicate at all levels

Maintaining customer satisfaction at all times

Skills and experience sought:

Technical Engineering background

Motor Rewind background desired

Knowledge of Pumps and equipment desired

Ability to read Technical drawings

Electrical competent

Previous experience required

Personal Qualities :

Personable and team player

Excellent communication skills

Computer literate

Excellent time management skills

Organised with a great attention to detail
