The role:
This role sits within the events marketing team but will also involve collaboration with sales, marketing, operations and editorial teams to ensure success.
Key tasks and responsibilities
Develop and implement effective copywriting and PR strategies for events.
Create compelling and engaging content for various platforms, including websites, social media, press releases, promotional materials, and event collateral.
Collaborate with all department including sales, marketing, operations, and editorial teams to ensure alignment of messaging and strategy.
Research information for content development.
Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
Monitor media coverage and press releases to identify PR opportunities.
Skills required:
4+ years experience in copywriting and PR.
Exceptional writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
Previous experience within the industry is not essential but you must have a genuine interest and desire to keep up to date with industry news.
