We are collaborating with a distinguished global asset management firm in the search for a skilled individual to fill a PR Manager position in their London office on a maternity cover basis. This exciting opportunity involves playing a pivotal role in safeguarding and elevating the company's brand by working closely with senior leaders, regional PR agencies, and assigned business units.Responsibilities:Execute strategic public relations activities for various geographical regions, encompassing liaising with the press, events related to PR, and media communications calls.Oversee external PR agencies conducting press outreach on behalf of the company, ensuring alignment with firm-wide marketing campaigns.Develop and present compelling story ideas, engaging with the financial press and other media contacts through various channels.Foster and nurture relationships with the media, handling inquiries and serving as an additional spokesperson.Implement business unit-specific PR strategies, ensuring coherence with overall corporate messaging.Collaborate with investment professionals and senior management on media opportunities and PR strategies.Proactively generate and draft content to support and fortify the brand, representing the company on key strategic initiatives.Cultivate relationships with the sales team, ensuring alignment with their interests and activities.Coordinate with the Director of Corporate Communications on major communication projects.Ensure press materials are current, legally compliant, and aligned with the firm's branding initiatives.Act as the on-site media relations representative, leading proactive media pitching and managing inbound inquiries.Oversee administrative activities with regional PR agencies, including managing media databases and press lists.Requirements:Strong experience in global corporate communications or agency environment mandatoryPrevious experience within an investment management or financial services firmUnderstanding of digital/social media concepts for communications purposesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalDetail-oriented with exceptional organisational skills.Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and presentation skills to senior leadershipIf you possess strategic thinking, a passion for public relations, and a proven track record in global corporate communications within the financial services industry, we encourage you to apply here or email Chris at
