Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a SEND School in Leicester who are looking for people with a background in Psychology to best support their students who have additional needs. The school are seeking a Psychology graduate to support children with a range of needs, including but not limited to:

• Dyslexia
• Autism Spectrum Disorder
• ADHD
• SEMH
• Global Delay
• Moderate Learning Difficulties
• Visual Impairments
• Medical Needs

The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to use their expertise to support children aged 3-19 years old, whilst gaining experience to use to further their career. The role will begin as soon as possible and will continue for the remainder of the academic year.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with a range of additional needs.
• Monitor and track student progress.
• Provide a supportive environment to help children develop socially and academically.
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide effective support.
