As a PSV Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient maintenance and repair of our buses within our depot. Your prior experience in PSV Technician roles will be essential in fulfilling the responsibilities of this position. Various Shift Patterns available - Monday - Friday (6am-2pm/8am-4pm/10am-6pm rotating shift) - Days 4 on 4 off (5am - 4pm) - Nights 4 on 4 off (4pm - 3am) Key Responsibilities: Conducting maintenance and repair tasks on PSVs to ensure they meet safety and performance standards. Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques. Performing routine inspections and servicing of PSVs to identify and address potential problems. Collaborating with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks. Adhering to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Skills and Qualifications Required: Level 3 City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent qualification within PSV or HGV Maintenance. Possession of a PSV licence is considered advantageous. Demonstrated diagnostic experience, particularly in identifying and resolving complex mechanical and electrical issues. Previous experience as an HGV, PSV, or LCV Technician is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. As a Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and maintaining various equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and excellent problem-solving skills. For the PSV Technician role you will need to have prior PSV Technician experience working within a dealership or fleet maintenance environment. Duties: - Assemble and fabricate components according to specifications - Use power tools and hand tools to complete assigned tasks - Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance - Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues - Collaborate with team members to meet production goals Skills: - Proficient in using power tools and hand tools - Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics - Experience with soldering and electrical wiring - Excellent problem-solving abilities - Strong attention to detail and accuracy This is a full-time position offering competitive pay based on experience.
