Job Title: Outdoor Learning PSHE Facilitator (Unqualified) - Autism Specialist

In a beautiful village, We specialise in providing alternative learning provision for individuals with autism, offering a unique and enriching educational experience through outdoor activities and personal, social, health, and economic (PSHE) education.

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a full-time Outdoor Learning PSHE Facilitator. As an unqualified candidate, you will receive comprehensive training and support to excel in this role. You will be responsible for delivering engaging PSHE sessions tailored to the needs of individuals with autism, promoting personal development, well-being, and social skills through outdoor activities and experiential learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver PSHE sessions in line with curriculum objectives and individual needs. Facilitate outdoor activities to enhance social interaction, communication, and life skills development. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes confidence and self-esteem. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic support for learners. Monitor and assess learner progress, providing feedback and guidance as needed. Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress, and achievements.

Requirements:

Genuine passion for supporting individuals with autism and promoting their well-being. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs. Resilience and patience to work in challenging situations. Willingness to undergo training and continuous professional development.
