Job Title: Proturn Engineer
Salary: £ 33,745.92 per annum
Location: Oldham
Job Type: Permanent
Working hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm and Friday 8am-3:30pm
My client is a long established precision engineering and fabrication company based Oldham.
You will be required to carry out repairs and make one off new components to a customer sample or sketch. Experience within a breakdown environment would be a distinct advantage.
Qualifications and Skills:
Time-served engineer
Extensive experience programming, setting and operating XYZ Proturn 555
Experience programming, setting and operating XYZ Proturn 425 would be beneficial
To have worked in a similar fast-paced environment
Work to close tolerances and tight deadlines
Work to samples, sketches and drawings
Strong mechanical engineering background in light to medium engineering
Proven experience carrying out repair work
Other information
£16.64 per hour (pay review end of May)
Overtime available during the week and at weekends
33 days holiday per annum
