Property Surveyor

Local authority in the Nottinghamshire area are looking for a technical officer to join their housing repairs team for an initial period of 6 months.
Purpose of the role:
To be responsible for the inspection and standards of delivery of the housing repairs service referring only the most complex and intractable problems, and matters relating to policy to Operations Manager/Repairs and Maintenance Manager.
To undertake site measurements in the preparations of valuations, specifications, schedule of rates, form of contract and sub-contract, including any cost variations.
To prepare and agree monthly valuations with Client Departments, including the re-measurement and valuing all work executed since the previous valuation, and agree any increased costs, either by Formula Adjustment Method or traditional fluctuations.
