Are you an experienced Property Services Professional looking for a contract where you can utilise your experience and enrich a team?

Sellick Partnership are recruiting for an exciting opportunity to lead a local authority Property Services team.

Key responsibilities of the Property Services Manager include, but not limited to:

• Solving a wide range of estate management matters relating to the extensive property holdings
• Providing property advice regarding repairs and maintenance
• Managing commercial, industrial and other non-residential properties and holdings.
• Overseeing a portfolio of transactional matters relating to the acquisition, disposal and valuation of properties, including commercial landlord and tenant issues
• Supporting the work of the Corporate Leadership Team in ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of organisational services
• Supporting the work of the Commercial Programme Board in increasing the net commercial income generated from the commercial property portfolio.

Essential experience required includes:

• Educated to degree or equivalent level in a subject relevant to the job role i.e. estates management, property or surveying background
• Professional member of RICS or on the path to becoming a member.
• Knowledge in estate management, some of which should have been at a senior level managing others.
• Knowledge and experience of property disposals, acquisitions, development and valuation of strategic land and property assets
