Property Lawyer with an interest in Planning /Energy /Environmental

A property lawyer with an interest in planning/energy/environmental work is sought by a long established regional heavyweight that has grown substantially over recent years to almost 300 staff. Several high profile hires, fantastic modern offices and a culture and ethos that operated home working three days a week even before the pandemichas seen this firm recognised as one of this region’s leading names.
They now wish to add to their already hugely successful property team, that is both Legal 500 and Chambers recommended.
The role would suit a Solicitor/Legal Executive with at least 4 years PQE to join the busy and well respected Commercial Real Estate team. Applicants for this position would be considered on a full time or part time (minimum 3 days (22.5 hours) per week with flexibility as to how those days/hours are worked).
There will be the opportunity for some working from home, if desired, in line with the Firm's working from home guidelines, which is currently set at 3 days from home.
You will be a commercial property lawyer but you will have an interest in development and planning and the regeneration process, from site acquisition and site set up to disposals of residential property, commercial property and leisure units with the ability to oversee any related plot sales.
The role will involve full marketing and business development and therefore the ideal candidate must be flexible enough to work outside normal office hours when required and preferably have their own vehicle as well as a clean driving licence.
We are looking for an outgoing and enthusiastic lawyer with previous experience in handling and managing their own caseload, appropriate to their level of experience. You will have the ability to deliver succinct, high quality advice with excellent client and team communication skills.
