Property Investment Analyst

At Econest we're looking for a Property Investment Analyst to join our team.Econest is a mission-driven, for-profit company addressing the climate crisis by purchasing and retrofitting energy inefficient properties, and converting them to eco-friendly rentals.Join our team as a Property Investment Analyst, where your work will propel us towards our mission of reducing emissions in the buy-to-let housing sector by over 80%.This role will be based in Manchester in the United Kingdom.About the roleAs Econest is a small and dynamic startup, we’re looking for a team member to enable us to gain a foothold in the Manchester market, as well as surrounding areas. Your experience in working with all areas of real estate, including tax, debt, and finance, will enable you to be successful in this role.We are looking for a candidate to join initially on an uncontracted basis. The length of placement will be subject to the candidate’s availability, as we are keen to find exceptional candidates who can propel us towards our mission. Should the candidate prove themselves and close on a number of transactions, there will be an opportunity to join the team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will have expenses reimbursed up to £30 per day. The role will include:Utilising our in-house app for sourcing properties to identify properties to move forward onLiasing with estate agents, solicitors, and other third parties to request and provide accurate information to progress properties towards closingReviewing property reports and ensuring all necessary documentation has been collectedChecking property completion statements and ensuring financial calculations are inlineReview legal documents to ensure that reports, transaction forms, and compliance documents pass due diligence checksEnsuring the timely transfer and filing of all necessary documents upon a successful completion of a transactionAbout youYou have 1+ years experience in property transactionsYou have a firm understanding of the ins and outs of the buy-to-let property marketYou are extremely well-organised, have a keen eye for detail, and ensure that all I’s are dotted and T’s are crossedYou can stay on top of multiple workflows and pipelines with a breezeYou build relationships through your excellent verbal and written communicationsYou are a resourceful, determined, and proven self-starterYou have technical proficiency in Google Docs and Sheets, and Microsoft Word and ExcelOther details includeAt Econest you can be the person you are, regardless of ethnicity, religion, political affiliation, age, disability, sexual orientation, size, and/or gender identity.
