Single Homeless Project has an opportunity for a Project Worker Complex Needs to join our experienced and committed teams within our Complex Needs Service in Westminster. You will join us on a either a full time or part time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary starting at £28,247.60 and rising incrementally to £30,342.85 per annum.

About the Project Worker Complex Needs role:

You will be in a specialist role designed to work with people with complex support needs, relating to mental health, multiple physical health needs, poly-substance use and offending.

As a Project / Support Worker Complex Needs, your role will be to provide support to clients to enable them to understand their support needs and to manage these effectively.  You will hold a caseload of clients and be responsible for helping them to identify short term objectives, meet their goals and complete risk assessments. You will also support clients to develop their living skills, develop and manage relationships, build social networks and to access various services.

Skills and experience we're looking for in our Project Worker Complex Needs:

Previous experience of working in the health and social care, supporting vulnerable people, rough sleepers or people with complex mental health, physical health or substance use support needs

An understanding of working with people using person-centred approaches

The ability to manage a caseload and deliver positive outcomes utilising your knowledge of the health and social care sector

A flexible and creative approach to working with a sometimes hard to engage client group

Flexibility is required, as you will be working a rota inclusive of early shifts, late shifts and bank holidays.

Our attractive benefits package includes:

A salary increase after successfully completing six month's probationary period

A 37.5 hour working week including flexible working hours (core hours are 10am – 4pm) in non-accommodation services

25 days annual leave, increasing annually to the maximum 30 days (plus paid Bank Holidays),

A contributory pension scheme: Single Homeless Project will contribute the equivalent of 5% of your annual salary
