Are you interested or wish to be involved in the future of green economy?Inch Cape Offshore Wind FarmThe Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm, currently in late-stage development, will see up to 72 turbines located 15 km off the Angus Coast and connect to the National Grid at Cockenzie, East Lothian.Our projects are poised to play key role in green economic recovery.Once complete, it will be one of Scotland’s largest single sources of renewable energy and power up to 1 million homes with clean electricity.Summary of Assignment:The Project Services Manager is a critical enabler to the successful delivery of the Inch Cape project from development through to construction and provides essential project support to facilitate best practice project management. The Project Services Manager, who will work as part of the Inch Cape management team, will be responsible for the management of Project Controls, Project Planning, Risk Management, Workforce Planning, Document Control, Governance and Project Reporting to provide the Project Directors and leadership team with clear, accurate and timely information to support objective, evidence-based decision making, to enable successful Project delivery.A key requirement of the role is ensuring that the project runs according to plan while also identifying and reporting on any significant changes to the project and promoting suggestions for project optimisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall project development and construction plan and ensuring that all the necessary project controls and governance procedures are in place.The role requires a highly motivated, innovative, commercially driven individual, with a proven track record of delivering successful project(s)/initiative(s) as well as process improvement(s). Key features of the role include proactive management, auditing and ensuring satisfactory provision of planning, cost engineering and capital estimating services within the project in accordance with the agreed joint venture and project procedures.Travels required: Mainly WFH with some travels to the Edinburgh office for meetings as and when required (around 3 days a month, normally within the same week and communicated in advanced)Main office: 40 Princess Street, EH22BY, EdinburghWorking hours: Flexible times - Monday to Friday - 7.5h a day (normally between 8am and 6pm)ResponsibilitiesLeading the Planning team and P6 Programmes ensuring clear, timely and accurate information is provided to Project Management, Project Boards and Lenders to support objective, evidence-based decision making.Driving effective Programme Baseline Management (Schedule, risk and cost), ensuring the Baseline is captured, maintained and managed throughout the Project Lifecycle.Undertake analysis of Delay Events notified within Contractors Claims to determine the validity of these claims. Proactively lead the Risk and Opportunity Management process, ensuring all Risks are identified and are managed by the allocated Risk owners. Conduct Quantitative Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis (QCSRA) Manage and lead the project document control process including the support of effective technical and commercial processes. Managing the Document Control team and all aspects of Document Control on the Project. Producing and consolidating Executive Management Reporting, metrics and KPIs for Project Management and key stakeholders, including the project JV Board, shareholders and lenders and lenders’ advisors (e.g. JV Board Packs, Project Dashboards, Management Reporting).Support the Commercial Director, the Leadership Team and their respective teams in project processes and procedures at all stages of the projectSupport Safety across the project and its priority in all planning/assessment activities.Skills:A flexible self-starter with ability to work from own initiative, taking ownership of work and motivating team members to deliver team objectives.Be results orientated with the ability to work to tight deadlines. Capability in producing clear and concise information that will assist senior management decision making. Outstanding people and stakeholder management skills.The ability to bring people on board, manage change and show them what good looks like will be essential to your success in this role.Knowledge:A minimum of 7-10 years relevant post qualification experience.Extensive experience leading PMO / Project Controls on Large Capital Projects and managing multi-disciplinary teams. Significant experience and subject matter expertise in PMO / Project Controls (e.g., Primavera P6, Project Planning, Risk Management, Governance, Change Control, etc).Outstanding risk management knowledge. Strong commercial focus with clear understanding of the business case for offshore wind projects. Experience of using qualitative and quantitative modelling methods.Proven ability in negotiating and influencing across all areas of the business, but more so at senior stakeholder level. Qualifications:3rd Level qualification or equivalent work experienceControls/governance training/qualificationA recognised Project Management qualification/certification.
