You'll play a leading role in the development and implementation of consistent and best practice Project Risk Management standards, tools and processes, working closely with the Project Director, Senior Project Managers, and the wider Project Team to ensure successful delivery.Some of your other main accountabilities will include;- Developing strong, engaging stakeholder relationships across various business areas such as Engineering, Consents, Commercial and Finance to name a few.- Owning the quantitative risk analysis process for the Coire Glas project, providing a live view of the risk exposure position whilst identifying trends, and emerging themes.- Preparing weekly and monthly Risk Management reports for senior management providing clear, accurate and timely information to support evidence-based decision making.- Conducting regular risk reviews across the project and packages, working closely with the teams to identify and implement effective management and mitigation strategies.- Acting as champion for Risk Management across the project, providing guidance and support to project management and package teams where required.What do I need?To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:- A professional qualification in Project/Risk Management, such as ChPP, APM PMQ, MoR etc.- Experience leading Risk Management activity in a complex Large Capital Projects environment.- A background operating as a Subject Matter Expert in project Risk Management methods, techniques and toolsets, with a focus on how risks and opportunities can impact project business case.- A strong understanding of running Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) models and presenting outputs to support project/portfolio decision making.What's in it for you?We offer an excellent package with 34 days annual leave entitlement.
