Salary: £37,000 - £45,000 + pkgLocation: LeedsRegion: YorkshireWe are currently looking for a Project Quantity Surveyor to work for a Regional Contractor based in Leeds, specialising in a range of civils engineering disciplines. This role will be focused towards their Rail Division, on projects up to the value of £10m work high profile clients, one being Network Rail.The Ideal Candidate will be:Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management4-5 years post graduate experience working for a main contractorExperience using NEC forms of contractExperience within rail or heavy civil engineering disciplinesSpecification:Contribute to the successful Commercial Performance of a limited complexity Contract or section of a medium ProjectEnsure full compliance with commercial processesEnsure Subcontract administrationDevelop effective relationships with Customers and ensure the timely provision of information to allWork in conjunction with the Operations team to identify, escalate and mitigate risksEnsure insurance claims are notified in accordance with requirements and that the necessary data relating to claims is compiledContribute to the Safety Leadership of the Project/ContractEnsure that accurate timely commercial advice is providedWork to exceed expected quality standards, comply with processes and contribute to improvementsDemonstrate core valuesContribute positively to the achievement of high performance across the teamThe role will also involve:ReportingMeasure and ValueCost Control & Budget ManagementRecord KeepingForecast Cost to CompletionApplicationsCash flowChange Management and ClaimsSubcontract ProcurementMaximise IncomeClient and Supply Chain RelationshipsConflict AvoidanceDispute Management and Resolution
