Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a
Project Planner
to join our team at our offices in Porthmadog, Gwynedd.
We are looking for a colleague who is already within this position; or looking to take the next step in your career.
Role Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Head of Planning, the
Project Planner
will be responsible for assisting the Design Manager in the coordination of the design process on a project from tender to client and end-user handover.
On a day to day basis, the responsibilities of the
Project Planner
will include the following (not exhaustive):
Managing controlled project documentation
Drawing up and supporting the implementation of a construction programme
Defining methods and establishing outputs in consultation with the estimator and other team members
Preparing a resourced programme including reviewing the outcome for conformance with expectations and requirements
Compiling the forecast programmes
Contributing to the identification of change and undertaking assessments of the time effects
Preparing, maintaining and communicating the contractual programme to meet requirements
Working with the Site Agents to understand progress, milestones and activity completion
Treating Health and Safety and environmental matters as primary drivers of approach
The ideal candidate will be a
Project Planner
who is in receipt of the following:
Graduate degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent and if you are a Chartered Civil Engineer, would prove highly beneficial
Able to demonstrate a wide range of Civil Engineering knowledge
Demonstrable experience in Planning Software packages. If you have experience in any of P6, ASTA Powerproject and Microsoft Project, this would be advantageous in this role
Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages such as - Word and Excel
