Job Description Project Controller / / Project Planner / Assistant Project Manager Maidenhead - 3 days in office / 2 days home Hybrid working pattern £40,000-50,000My Product Path are working a high growth global manufacturing organisation to recruit a Project Controller/ Project Planner to join the Product & Innovation arm of the business. The company have a world class track record in training & developing talent and crafting long term career paths and they will support you in working towards Chartered Project Professional status with the Association of Project Management.Project Controller/Planner Role:Supporting the Product Management team in establishing and managing project schedules.Ensuring that task owners update the progress and estimated time-to-completion of their tasks at least fortnightly.Tracking spend and controlling project costs.Analysing project information for early problem identification and implementing mitigation actions.Working alongside the R&D and other teams to support estimation of new projects.Assisting teams when they are blocked by expediting their requests for support / tools / etc.Identifying and reporting performance indicators.Helping to prioritise and assess change requests and controlling the scope of tasks throughout the life of a project.Coordinating project documentation.Supporting the execution of back-office PMO & R&D ProcessesAssisting with the development of our Project Management practice and methodologies.Project Planner / Controller Candidate Profile Fit:You are highly organised, able to keep track of, prioritise and coordinate a large number of tasks at the same time.You are able to communicate clearly and concisely with a range of stakeholders.You set high standards for yourself and others in the pursuit of excellence.You have excellent analytical skills, able to identify project risks and issues and recommend solutions.You have the ability to work across a diverse cultural environment, working with stakeholders from across the world.Qualifications & ExperienceExperience of working in project planning or project controls within an engineering organisation.Experience of creating and maintaining project schedules, e.g. using MSP or P6.Demonstrable experience of risk, opportunity and change managementIdeally have experience of agile frameworks.You may hold APM PFQ or a similar level certification, but this is not a requirement.This role is a hybrid role based in Maidenhead (3 days in office / 2 days home) and there is a 5-15% global travel requirement to USA, Spain, France, Czech Republic which will be scheduled well in advance to respect your schedule.Should you meet the criteria above then please apply now for immediate CV review.
