Project Planner

Framatome is a major international player in the nuclear energy market recognised for its innovative solutions and value-added technologies for designing, building, maintaining, and advancing the global nuclear fleet.With 14,000 employees worldwide, and over 300 strong in the UK, our plans are to grow to 400-500 by 2025 through the development our UK nuclear service offeringsFramatome is owned by the EDF Group (75.5%), Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI – 19.5%) and Assystem (5%).Due to our ongoing and rapid growth, we are looking to recruit a Project Planner for our project at Torness Power Station.The Project Planner will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of our complex nuclear project.Supporting and working alongside the Project Manager and project team, the Project Planner will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the project schedule. The Project Planner will also be collaborating closely with our suppliers, following up on the project progress as well as ensuring that our investment projects proceed as planned.Key responsibilities will includeProject planning and creating a work breakdown structureBuilding up the project schedule and updatesInterrogating construction schedulesProject progress follow-up (with the core project team and suppliers)Delay analysis and proposing mitigation actionsDepending on the experience level and planning performance, small project deliveries are possibleYou areTo be considered, we require the following qualifications, skills and experience:Educated to degree level in an engineering disciplineStrong project organisation skills with the ability to cooperate with multiple stakeholdersUnderstanding of Project Management principles and techniques in the scheduling area, business focus and customer-centricity will help you excel in this role.Understanding and experience of Pet Master or similarGood knowledge in MS projectCTC Clearance is essential for this roleCandidates who do not hold this, must be willing and have the ability to obtainAdditional informationLevel of education (all) BachelorItem authorizing the screening of narcotics for the prevention of addictions: Oui
