Project Planner

We are seeking a dynamic Project Planner to join our clients Projects team. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in developing master programs, construction constraints, and phasing plans across all project lifecycle stages, with a particular emphasis on the early stages.

The Project Planner will actively support the project's senior leadership team in managing and monitoring progress in alignment with the overall capital plan. Additionally, post-contract, the Project Planner will collaborate with both the Project and Commercial Management disciplines, focusing on monitoring construction progress and providing support in contract administration, particularly regarding the acceptance of revised contract programs.

• Assist Project Managers in identifying risks related to logistics ensuring adequate resolution within the program.
• Develop and manage master programming for all stages of the capital project portfolio, including concept design, detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Develop and manage master program for the appointment of professional service teams to projects.
• Develop and manage master program for tender development and returns.
• Establish and maintain an effective project timeline in line with sponsorship expectations, providing support and explanation on the effects of change to the project program.
• Identify key project milestones and constraints.
• Maximize production output through efficient planning.
• Manage appropriate program information to allow recommendations and support decision-making in the toll gate process.
• Ensure adequate time is allocated during key stages of design, mobilization, and construction.

Requirements of the Project Planner

• Experience in programme management through development, construction and handover
• Proficient in MS Project, specialist planning software, Excel and Powerpoint
• Experience with NEC 3 contracts and be able to demonstrate.

• A basic salary of between �40,000 and �50,000
• Pension contributions of up to 7%
