Project Manager

Our client are a well established construction business based in Tyne & Wear. They are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a contract basis for a project based in Teesside.

Job description:

* Responsible for the day to day management of a large demolition project.

* Overseeing and managing contractors on site.

* To ensure all documentation is prepared in line with client specifications and timeframes.

* To ensure health, safety and environmental standards are met.

* Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications.

* Perform any other duties that may be required by your line manager and the Director for Programme Management from time to time.

* Ensuring that project timelines are kept on track.

Person specification:

* Degree qualified in relevant discipline (highly desirable).

* Proven experience in project management.

* Must have a full UK Driving License.

* Relevant site qualifications.

* Ability to analyse complex information and make informed decisions.

* Able to read and accurately interpret contract documents, programs, drawings, and technical specifications
