Project Manager

Looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to work in the Project Professional Services Team as Programme Manager. They will initially support the Projects team on Department for Transport and Defence UK.
The role will be to manage (both as line manager and indirect line manager) a team of project professionals in the successful delivery of Operational and Capital Projects within PFI and FM contracts from their initial inception through to handover and financial completion. They will undertake the coordination of multiple project stakeholders, design consultants, principal contractor and Suppliers.
Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring projects are delivered in compliance with the contract and governance arrangements.
Quality assurance and overall integrity of projects.
Managing their own projects whilst assisting Project Managers / Senior Project Managers in the management of the project budgets, monitoring the expenditures and costs, through liaison with the Cost Management Team
Lead and demonstrate through action skills in coordinating all contractual requirements throughout the project process including but not limited to:
On-site project management.
Cost control.
What we are looking for
Hold a relevant CSCS card
Understanding of applicable legislation, regulations and standards.
Experience of working withing a PFI contract environment.
Full UK Driving license (essential)
SC clearance (achievable)
Knowledge of or experience of working within the construction industry.
