Job description:
Role: Project Manager in Land & Property.
Salary & Benefits : Salary £41,495 to £51,868 per annum dependant on experience, company car through company car lease scheme, annual bonus, attractive pension scheme (Up to 10% company contribution), life assurance cover of 4 times pensionable salary and 25 days annual leave, bank holidays , plus a wellness day and development opportunities in line with the Project Manager progression plan. Location: Bradford, flexible hybrid working.
Work type: We have a permanent opportunity for a Project Manager working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday within a standard window,to join the Land & Planning department at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

The Project Manager will lead and manage key projects, ensuring that they are delivered to time, cost and quality and that project risks are managed in line with business targets, whilst ensuring health and safety, regulatory and statutory compliance is achieved.
Where you fit in:
As our Project Manager you will
Be accountable for accurate forecasting and reporting of key information such as expenditure and cash flow.
Provide regular and accurate reporting information where required ensuring that pro-active approvals are obtained to satisfy Corporate Governance Procedures.
Create and execute project plans and produce high quality reports indicating the key elements of a project in relation to ROI, risk, business case and implementation plan.
Drive new opportunities derived from knowledge or learning gained through working with Partners, Contractors and Suppliers.
Ensure project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately, through the governance process across the department.
Validate and authorise all payments and costs for the projects, utilise Project Co-ordinator colleagues.
Mee monthly with Land & Property Technical Leads Rural / Housing / Conservation / Recreation / Workplace Experience to assist with planning and forecasting on PMS.
Meet monthly with Land & Property Service Partners to assist with project and contract queries and discussions.
Assist Business Sponsors in Need evaluation, scoping, quotations and identification of cost-effective delivery routes.
Management of Contractor and 3rd party liaison whilst site works are undertaken ensuring H&S standards are being met and the project is being delivered to time, cost and quality.
Accountable for adherence to Company standards, policy and procedure and following Business Process Management ethos, to ensure regulatory and legal compliance and maintenance of ISO accreditation.
Responsible for standards, policy and systems within the remit of the role being up to date as a knowledge source for others.
What skills, experience and qualifications you will need:
Extensive knowledge of Yorkshire Water Services (YWS) Financial and reporting systems (SAP, PMS)
Knowledge of YWS Procurement and Capital company rules and procedures
Track record of delivering results against challenging financial targets
Be familiar with Microsoft Office packages including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Projects and PowerBI
Experience in need/risk evaluation and prioritisation
Experience in scope development and cost-effective quotation management.
Be a strong communicator, able to negotiate and influence across all levels of the business.
Ability to demonstrate resilience and time management skills and to manage fast-paced change across multiple disciplines, whilst managing conflicting priorities
