Position: Project Manager - Construction and Property Consultancy Firm

With a focus on excellence and innovation, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager to collaborate with a prestigious banking client on a number of significant Projects

Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Oversee a number of complex project involving LED upgrades and energy improvements, followed by a substantial structural refurbishment, lift replacements schemes, large scale fabric and office refurbishment and fit-outs and re-roofing projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and adherence to time, cost, and quality targets.
Client Management: Cultivate strong relationships with the banking client, serving as a trusted advisor and effectively managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders to navigate planning applications, building regulations, and other regulatory requirements, facilitating seamless project progression.
Contract Management: Utilize strong knowledge of framework contracts and agreements, potentially NEC forms of contract, to effectively manage project contracts and agreements.
Commercial Awareness: Demonstrate a keen understanding of current market and trading conditions, leveraging this insight to value engineer projects and optimize commercial outcomes.
Project Documentation: Maintain meticulous documentation of project actions and agreements with key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project.
Requirements:
Experience working within the banking sector or on large-scale office/commercial redevelopment projects is highly advantageous.
Proven track record of managing projects from inception to completion, with a focus on delivering results that meet or exceed client expectations.
Strong client-facing skills with the ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with diverse stakeholders.
Degree or equivalent Qualification in a construction-related subject, coupled with demonstrated experience in client-side project management.
Familiarity with planning applications, building regulations, and other relevant regulatory processes.
Commercially astute with the ability to identify opportunities for value engineering and cost optimization.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accurate project documentation and records.
Additional Information:
This role falls under IR35 regulations and will be paid via the Umbrella payroll solution. It offers a long-term opportunity for the successful candidate.
