We are working with a very well respected, multi-national defence technology company, to support them on bringing on a Project Manager to join their Portsmouth team.
This is an unique opportunity, with extremely interesting and valuable projects available, with a direct real -world impact. There will be a strong training plan in place and support provided to succeed in the role, however, previous experience working with Defence projects is a must. They are looking for someone to hit the ground running, take ownership, and who they can eventually build teams out around.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of high-value projects within the organisations Defence Digital Team.
You will be involved in:
Development and maintenance of positive engagement with project customers, partners and suppliers.
Delivery of the project outputs, to agreed baseline (customer satisfaction, time, cost, quality, cash and sales).
Ensuring project members operate in line with the Operating Framework & functional competency management requirements; and have appropriate personal objectives recorded in the companies performance management system.
Resolving conflicts within the project and collaborating across the organisation.
Maintenance of forecasts (both financial and resource demand signal) for sales and delivery which reflects the up-to-date expectations for the work.
Application of governance requirements (including lifecycle, project & independent reviews as appropriate) for foundation sales and delivery work.
