Start date: January 2018Interviews: ASAPJonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently looking for a IT Web Project Manager to aid our key client, based in Central London, as they continue to undertake a major IT transformation project.There is a considerable budget in place for this project and the services of an enthusiastic, passionate & strategic IT Web Project Manager who not only has the experience and the skills, but has an innate ability to gain ‘buy in’ from staff and stakeholders is vital.THE BASICS:You will be acting as the bridge / liaison point between the business, development teams, other internal transformation projects and external suppliers/consultants, involved from the initial scoping of the project through to and including managing expectations for delivery.THE RESPONSIBILITIES:Ideally, Web Project Managers will review existing websites and platforms, review and revise the project PID and project plan, manage and complete the implementation of the project within agreed constraints of cost, time, quality, scope, risks and benefits, provide weekly progress reports to the Programme Manager, Project Board and other senior stakeholders and manage all other project communications.We are looking for individuals who can create and manage the implementation plan, whilst being responsible for and managing and coordinating all activities by the business including finance, communications, key revenue generating teams and IT teams as well as external suppliers/consultants.If you can effectively manage risks, issues and dependencies; create and maintain all project documentation according to PRINCE2 and establish and manage the project’s procedures and controls – advising the Project Board of any deviations, then you are likely to receive an immediate interview requestTHE ESSENTIAL SKILLS:Web Project Managers with experience of hosted, cloud and on-premise web solutions, coupled with a solid track record of successful IT implementation project delivery within cost, time, quality, scope, risk and benefit constraints and previous experience of implementing both Infrastructure and e-commerce projects, plus IT implementations involving integrations with multiple systems and multiple external IT suppliers will be sought after.If you have experience of successfully managing business change; able to influence and motivate managers and staff across the business and external suppliers to ensure project milestones and objectives are met then please apply TODAY.THE CONCLUSION:Project Managers with excellent planning, communication and stakeholder management skills excellent time management, problem solving, attention to detail and solid negotiation skills should apply.
